Drama Club is for any student at Klein Collins who is interested in the theater arts in any shape, form, or fashion. We encourage all students enrolled in theatre arts classes to join, however you definitely do not have to be in a class to be in Drama Club — we want members from all over the school.
To be a part of Drama Club, you must become a member of good standing. Part of that means that we ask you to work ten hours every six weeks on one of the many shows that go on in our department. This may sound like a lot, but it’s really just about one Saturday, and each hour you get closer to all of the fun and quirky people our department boasts. Working ten hours gets you involved in the show in a way you might not expect, because a few hours of work draws you closer to an amazing group of people and an amazing feeling of accomplishment when the show is finally performed.
Drama Club also goes on a vast array of fun events throughout the year. From attending professional musicals at the Hobby Center to going to the Texas Renaissance Festival for a day, Drama Club always stays busy with exciting activities.
All meetings are listed on the calendar page. To join drama club, attend a meeting and we will tell you anything else you need to know.
We encourage you to join Drama Club because the things you do and the people you meet might just become your favorite part of high school. We know it’s our’s.
Come to our meetings the first Thursday of every month, after school in the auditorium!
